What we stand for
The name – ‘HELDs Vitalhotel’
The name of the hotel, derived from the surname of Annabell’s ancestors, was chosen to pay homage to Annabell’s grandparents. “Held” means literally “Hero”. And for Annabell her grandparents were real “Heroes”. “HELDs Vitalhotel” is a typical Bavarian family run hotel with a down-to-earth character.
Grandpa Peter feels particularly comfortable in his favourite place in the breakfast room with view over the mountains of the “Chiemgau Alps”.
The logo – ‘HELDs Vitalhotel’
Even the logo symbol of the hotel is rooted in the family history with the typography being a reproduction of the original signature of Annabell’s mother.
As the name of the hotel, HELDs Vitalhotel, suggests, the active and invigorating recreation is an important feature of a stay in our house.
The basin of Ruhpolding, encircled by the mountains of the “Chiemgau Alps”, provides endless opportunities not only for the enjoyment of the natural environment but also for exciting leisure activities in the open air.
The leisure activities in the local area include cross country skiing, hiking, cycling, golf, paragliding, downhill skiing, ice-skating, swimming, horse-riding, tennis and sledging.
However, for us activity does not only refer to extreme performances, such as steep climbs to the summit of high mountains, but also leisurely walks in nature to explore the beautiful landscape and its wildlife or the discovery of the local traditions and culture. You can also cheer on your favourite athlete attending a biathlon competition in Ruhpolding or head for the numerous mountain huts and inns to taste the culinary delights which await you in Ruhpolding and its surroundings.
We, the management and the staff of HELDs Vitalhotel, have adopted this dynamic approach in our services too, serving our guests in a dedicated and obliging manner. We are seeking to make the guests feel welcome and comfortable and we are always happy to welcome our guests who join us to make the most of their
